Hello and welcome to our website.  My name is John Montgomery and I have had the pleasure of having Rottweilers since 1989.  Around 1992 I met Pat Sweeney, a local trainer and Rottweiler person, and started doing decoy work for personal protection dogs and guard dog work.  From there I got into Schutzhund Training and started doing helper work with a few local clubs.

My passion is my Rottweilers.  I enjoy showing in German style Seiger shows and working dogs with a few good people.  Together with my wife and children we started our Rottweiler Breeding Kennel Von Der Garbade Rottweilers.  We are a small kennel in Orange County NY and have only 2-3 breedings a year from some of the best bloodlines in the world.  Our pups are raised in a loving family environment with lots of love and attention, to ensure they get off to a good start in life.

Our kennel is something we take a lot of pride in.  Our dogs are always in top shape, and ready to make new friends.  We do not have any dogs that you can not touch.  Our dogs have very good temperments and are well behaved.
